Matt Goldwait
Matt studied hotel and catering management at the University of Massachusetts. He and his wife moved to the UK where they established businesses including restaurants and convenience stores while simultaneously raising three children. After nearly 30 years of nurturing their own business abroad, Matt and Ruth accepted a small corporate buyout. Matt soon joined ClubCorp as the General Manager of Eagles Landing in Stockbridge and later was recruited by Kemper Sports in Chicago. Regarding his return to Georgia, Matt stated, “I am delighted to be back in Atlanta with my family and being at The Georgian Club where I hope to build many lasting relationships with members and to continue the fine legacy of this great club.”

Kate Allison
Kate Allison has been with the company since 2009, when she started at Indian Hills Country Club before moving to Futren’s corporate office in 2010. At Futren, Kate held the title of Training and Special Projects Coordinator. On the topic of transitioning to the role of Membership Director at The Georgian Club, Kate says “I certainly have some big shoes to fill after Beverly’s retirement, and I am looking forward to the endeavor!”
Executive Chef
Tim Kotula
Tim grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Columbus State in Ohio for Hospitality Management and Chef Apprenticeship. He gained experience across the country as an Executive Chef for a small mountain resort in Vermont, a country club in Texas, large corporate dining facilities in Ohio, and six years at the Commerce Club in Atlanta. Most recently, Chef Tim was the Executive Chef at the Manor Golf and Country Club in Milton, Georgia. He accredits his cooking style to the ever changing seasons and values fresh, seasonal, and sustainable food. Chef Tim prides himself on sourcing the freshest seafood in Atlanta and works well with vendors to make sure that he is serving the best of the best to members.

ShaMichael Brown
ShaMichael graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. She has been with the club since 2009 and came to us from The Ashford Club in Atlanta.
Event Services Coordinator
Shannon Thoms
Shannon joined The Georgian Club in 2018 after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Hospitality Management. During her time at Auburn, Shannon gained the valuable experience of working large scale events such as The Masters and The Sugar Bowl as well as working for many planners, venues, and vendors in the wedding industry.

Warren Perry
Warren was born and raised in Jamaica. He has been with The Georgian Club since 1999 and came to us after 15 years in the cruise industry.
