When people ask me what do I like to eat, my reply is “what month?” I truly am a seasonal eater, and it changes just like the seasons. This month, it’s fall cravings. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes, pork loin with warm apples and white cheddar mac. Maybe you crave lasagna or, maybe, pot roast. Most of these come from family meals and holiday traditions. Whatever the reason, feel free to indulge and give in to the temptations. I feel there are few things in life that are as quick and satisfying as a food craving. It is why I learned to cook. To make what I want, when I want, the way I want it. It was called being finicky. Today, they call me Chef. So have blue cheese on your burger, when the menu says cheddar, and cinnamon ice cream with your pecan pie. That’s why we are here, to make what you want, when you want, the way you want it. And we call that being satisfied.
